Taking its name from the St Germain Elderflower liquer used in the St Germain Elderflower cocktails that are included if you wish, Ting The Shard’s St Germain Afternoon Tea is guaranteed to delight and includes a vegan version.

Ting’s extremely popular afternoon tea uses traditional British afternoon tea ingredients such as strawberries and smoked salmon but serves them up in fresh ways that are both traditional and indulgent. The menu is generous, with lots of choice plus free refills of drinks, sandwiches and savouries so you’ll definitely eat your fill.

Ting at The Shard Afternoon Tea Menu:

From strawberry and basil cheesecake to pistachio eclairs, smoked salmon sandwiches with dill creme fraiche, roasted dry-aged beef with horseradish and watercress, beetroot muffins with whipped feta and plain and raisin scones served warm with jam and cream, these are familiar yet unique British treats that are  guaranteed to appeal to everyone. Ting Vegan Afternoon Tea at The Shard:

Ting’s vegan afternoon tea includes many of the same treats as the main version made with vegan ingredients plus roasted Portobello mushroom sandwiches with mushroom pate and tarragon, aubergine and hummus sandwiches with ras-el-hanout and many of the same treats as the main version made with vegan ingredients, such as beetroot muffins with vegan feta and vegan strawberry and basil cheesecake.

Ting’s vegan afternoon tea costs are the same as the main at £78 per person. Or £88 per person if you would like a cocktail, glass of Champagne or mocktail. To upgrade to a glass of Louis Roederer Collection 246 champagne it will be £109 per person.

Aqua Shard at The Shard Peter Pan Afternoon Tea, London

Combining the themes of water and childhood, the Peter Pan afternoon tea is an extremely popular themed treat with adventurous spins on British ingredients that don’t veer too far from tradition but are creative with widespread appeal. £2 from every sale goes to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, hence the childhood theme.

There is also a: vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian version available which you should order at booking because this is not a straight-forward afternoon tea to curate so notice is simply polite and considerate.

The Peter Pan afternoon tea at Aqua Shard at The Shard puts a really unique, creative spin on traditional British afternoon tea ingredients and presentation to create an exciting afternoon tea that’s a multi-sensory experience with innovative accents to British flavours that are inspired by the book and you won’t find anywhere else. It’s all served up in The Jolly Roger ship, treasure chests and more.

Peter Pan Afternoon Tea Menu at The Shard:

The Aqua Shard Peter Pan afternoon tea at The Shard has an innovative menu with decorations, shapes, displays and ingredients that draw inspiration from everyone from Captain Hook to Peter Pan, Wendy, food included in the book and the Lost Boys.

You’ll be served everything from: confit chicken sandwiches with mustard mayo and sweetcorn crumb on red pepper bread  to sausage rolls, sweet potato, cheddar and fig tart, poppy seed sponge with smoked coconut icing and apricot jam, raspberry and cookie dough tart, egg mayonnaise and watercress sandwiches, vanilla and raisin scones with gooseberry and elderflower jam, morello and raspberry jam and clotted cream plus a range of teas and coffee, which is by Illy.

Refills of tea and savoury items are available but creativity and popularity makes this a labour intensive afternoon tea with a very busy service so it’s not guaranteed more items  will be available. Booking your afternoon tea for earlier in the service will make refills more likely.

sandwiches (less than the other afternoon teas but you do have an extra savoury pastry), cakes, scones, pastries, savoury treats, a variety of teas and coffe, a fruity vodka cocktail, a fruity mocktail and a choice of Champagne. 

Peter Pan Afternoon Tea at The Shard Costs:

Aqua Shard’s Peter Pan afternoon tea costs: £70 per person, including tea and coffee or £90 with a glass of Champagne, £95 if it’s rose Champagne. If you’re bringing children, it’s £55 for under 12s. The vodka cocktail is £18 and the mocktail is £8.

The team at Aqua Shard have covered all needs with separate vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian menus but they should be ordered ahead.

The vegetarian Peter Pan afternoon tea menu includes: hummus and peppers sandwiches, egg mayonnaise and watercress sandwiches, a pesto, cream cheese and lemon savoury, sweet potato, fig and cheddar tart, vanilla and raisin scones, lemon curd, Chantilly and buttercream pastry, a raspberry mousse with fresh raspberries and gold leaves and more.

The vegan Peter Pan afternoon tea menu includes: hummus and peppers sandwiches, avocado, tomato and vegan mayonnaise sandwiches, spinach croquettes, vanilla and raisin scones, vegan carrot cake with pistachios, vegan lemon cheesecake, raspberry mousse with fresh raspberries and gold leaves and more.

If you want a completely traditional afternoon tea with traditional British flavours done well, afternoon tea at Oblix The Shard is the one for you. Oblix includes: vegan, vegetarian and children’s version of its afternoon tea with hot chocolate.
