Which type of wedding invitation should I choose?

Our exclusive folded and gatefold wedding invitations also have optional inside pockets if you want to add guest information cards and keep everything organised and neat and tidy.

Rather than print the formal invitation inside, we mount the formal invitation inside for a beautiful, luxurious finish. As with every element of our service, if you want to amend that and inside have the formal invitation printed inside or the guest information printed inside we can do that if you prefer but most people want the mounted invitation inside for a special finish.

What's the difference between a luxury wedding invitation and a standard wedding invitation?

The first glaring difference that sets a luxury wedding invitation apart is that it will be made from higher-quality card, giving you a thicker, denser, more beautiful wedding invitation. The quality of any card is indicated by its gsm which stands for grams per square metre. For luxury card you're looking for a gsm of more than 300gsm. We use 350+gsm for a luxurious, thick base for each design.

How many wedding invitations should I order?

Order 10-15 extra invitations so you can share details easily with any guests added at a later date. Average acceptance rates for wedding invitations are around 80% so you can calculate the exact number of spares for your guest list from that figure.


How do I work out how many wedding invitations to send?

You only need one wedding invitation per household as both couples names will go on the invite. If the recipient’s children are also invited use ‘and family’ on the end.


When do I send my wedding invitations?

Send your wedding invitations 3 months before the wedding. Use save the dates to let guests know that your wedding is on the horizon - these can be sent as early as you wish.

For destination or multi-day weddings or weddings with lots of guests from abroad, send your wedding invites 4 months before your wedding day so guests have enough time to make arrangements and use save the dates to let them know about your wedding date as early as possible.
