Located between floors 34 and 52, you’ll be 125m – 184m high above ground throughout your wedding, with beautiful views across London providing a constantly stunning backdrop to your day.
Beautiful views are at the heart of the Shard’s design so all rooms at the Shangri La London make the sensational panoramas the focus point of the room via the endless floor to ceiling windows in every room. Shangri La The Shard Wedding
The Shangri La London is the Shard’s main wedding space. Located across the 34th floor, there are a number of different sized rooms to choose from with each delivering stunning riverside views across London as a sensational backdrop to your wedding.
Floor to ceiling windows with views of London’s skyline and elegant decor make room a sensational space guests will remember. There are 3 different sized rooms, a grand staircase to walk down for your dramatic entrance, the Sky Lounge Bar plus The View Bar 35 floors above. If you wish, you can hire the entire 34th floor and have a range of rooms plus Sky Lounge Bar that you can use for different purposes.
The Shangri La The Shard is licensed for civil ceremonies so you can have both your reception and wedding ceremony in one place. Alternatively, if you want a church ceremony there are lots of beautiful churches nearby including: St Brides Fleet Street, Christ Church Spitalfields, All Gallows By the Tower, St Botolph, St Andrew's Undershaft, Amazing Grace London Bridge, St Helen's, Fitzrovia Chapel and St Mary Abchurch.
Wedding Spaces at The Shangri La The Shard
Ren Room: The Ren Room is the biggest space with stunning views in multiple directions. The Ren Room is most commonly used as a multi-use wedding space for ceremonies and receptions with space to seat up to 100. Hire costs are from around £8000.
Yi Room: The Yi Room is an elegant room with views across Tower Bridge and beyond. The Yi room seats up to 12, ideal for private dining, intimate wedding breakfasts or another use on your wedding day. Hire costs are from around £2250.
Li Room: The Li Room is a beautiful room with views across to St Paul’s Cathedral and beyond. The Li room seats up to 30, ideal for private dining, intimate wedding breakfasts or another use on your wedding day. Hire costs are from around £2500.
Other Wedding Spaces at The Shangri La London and The Shard
The Shard’s 4 brilliant restaurants, Oblix, Ting, Hutong and Aqua Shard are also available for private hire so you might even want to combine wedding space in the Shangri La London with private hire restaurant space, including bespoke food and drink menus. All four restaurants have their own bar. Hire costs start from around £1800.
Aqua Shard and Hutong have large spaces for hire. Aqua Shard is a contemporary British restaurant with space for up to 350 or if opened up into Hutong next door, 700. Medium and Small Weddings
The Shangri La The Shard London has a maximum capacity of 100 seated so it won’t work for large weddings but for the average wedding, which is medium or small, its perfect. For larger weddings or comparable wedding spaces nearby, check out the amazing wedding spaces at Horizon 22 and Sky Garden directly opposite on the other side of the river.
