When you arrive, you’ll take one of Horizon 22’s super fast lifts to the 58th floor where the viewing platform is located. You’ll be 254m high with 300 degree views across London in just 41 seconds!
At 254m, this is highest you can get to view the city in its full glory. Horizon 22 is London’s second tallest building at 278m in total, only out ranked by The Shard which proudly sits at 310m high although its viewing platform is lower than Horizon 22’s.
It’s towering floor to ceiling windows deliver unrivalled views and the bright and airy 817 square metre space means you can relax and drink in the views, with nothing but a huge LED screen interrupting the views. Even the small cafe is tucked away out of sight.

On the 58th floor itself is a cafe by esteemed London caterers Searcys and far below on the second floor is The Market Kitchen and Terrace Restaurant and Bar.
Gordon Ramsay’s Bishopsgate restaurants on floors 59 and 60 of Horizon 22 are: Lucky Cat, Gordon Ramsay High and Bread Street Kitchen and Bar. This also where you will find Horizon 22's afternoon tea.
To dine, book your reservation with the restaurant of your choice but bring photo ID with you, such as a passport or photo driving licence, because you'll need to enter through the main reception where confirmation that you are the reservation holder will be required. The dress code is smart casual, so don't come in a hoodie, trainers etc. - think smart restaurant attire with smart workplace standards.

Gordon Ramsay's Lucky Cat, Bishopsgate serves up Asian-inspired dishes in elegant surroundings, with everything from sashimi to rice and noodle dishes, bao buns and all sorts of fish and meat dishes available. Located on the 60th floor of Horizon 22, at the very top of the building, Lucky Cat, Bishopsgate has dazzling views across London, an outdoor terrace, a bar, live djs, a buzzing vibe and opens till late.

In the afternoon, between 2pm and 4.30pm you can opt to enjoy a creative twist on afternoon tea at Gordon Ramsay's Lucky Cat restaurant, that blends British tradition and with Asian inspiration. As you soak in the incredible views from 60 floors up, you'll be served pretty sandwiches and cakes with both traditional British and Asian flavours, as well as sushi, herbal teas, Champange and traditional British teas. if you're feeling adventurous, you can swap Champagne for Japanese Akashi-Tai sake (a crisp, fruity, premium rice wine).
The Horizon 22 afternoon tea at Gordon Ramsay's Lucky Cat, Bishopsgate doesn't veer too far from tradition so it still looks like an afternoon tea, is still served like one and still contains traditional afternoon tea ingredients.

Horizon 22's afternoon tea at Lucky Cat includes: a mixture of different ngiri sushi with wasabi and pickled ginger, Japanese sandos (which are soft bread sandwiches) with short rib and yuzu mustard, shiso cured salmon and wasabi creme fraiche and more, miso brownies with white chocolate ganache, yuzu meringue tartlets, classic, herbal and floral teas, Champagne, sake and more.
You do not get free refills of food. (Asking Gordon Ramsay for more for free is probably not a good idea lol -didn't he once shout at someone who asked for ketchup in one of his restaurants?). Refills may be given on tea but you may be charged.

With the Gherkin no longer serving afternoon tea, afternoon tea at Horizon 22 is the perfect replacement and in fact, a step up from the Gherkin because the views across London are even better - in fact, the best in the city.
If you do want an afternoon tea with a view and more traditional flavours, pop down to Monument, cross over London Bridge and do afternoon tea at the Shard, which has multiple options for a more traditional afternoon tea with a view. Prices for afternoon tea at the Shard are a bit more expensive than at Horizon 22, coming in at between £9 and 20 more without alcohol and £8-£15 with alcohol - depending on which afternoon tea you choose. However, for afternoon tea at the Shard you get free refills and alcohol options include cocktails. Gordon Ramsay's Lucky Cat Bishopsgate at Horizon 22 opens at 11.30am every day and closes at 1am from Monday to Wednesday, 3am from Thursday to Saturday and 10pm on Sundays.
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, Bishopsgate at Horizon 22
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, Bishopsgate at Horizon 22 is an intimate, Michelin-starred fine dining experience with an open kitchen and Chef’s table where you can sit and watch your masterpieces being created alongside only 11 other fellow diners. It has a prime location on floor 60 of Horizon 22, right at the top of the building for sublime views. The dress code is smart business casual with no trainers allowed.
Gordon Ramsay High, Bishopsgate is open in the evening from Tuesday to Saturday from 7pm to 11pm. On Sundats and Mondays, High Bishopsgate is closed.
Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen and Bar at Horizon 22
Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen and Bar, Bishopsgate at Horizon 22 offers a wide range of familiar dishes at a mid price point such as: butter chicken curry, ribeye steak, fried chicken and miso salmon. There's also a 5-course tasting menu.
Located on the 59th floor of Horizon 22 for stunning views, Bread Street Kitchen and Bar is open all day from 6.30am so you can enjoy a scenic breakfast or brunch if you wish. On Sundays there's a busy programme of live music and from Thursdays to Saturdays live djs. Towards one end there will also soon be a sports bar.
From Monday to Wednesday, Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen and Bar Bishopsgate closes at 12am, with late night opening till 3am from Thursday to Saturday. On Sunday the restaurant closes at 10pm.
Market Kitchen and Terrace Restaurant and Bar
The Market Kitchen and Terrace, Bishopsgate is an Italian restaurant and food stall hub offering a different experience, with an outdoor terrace, a revolving programme of exciting food stalls, much-loved Italian fare and a bar. It’s located on the second floor so you don’t get the views.
Market Kitchen and Terrace, Bishopsgate is open from 7.30am for breakfast and brunch, closing at 3pm when the bar opens and doesn't close until 10pm from Tuesday to Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays the bar closes earlier at 8pm.
For more breakfast and brunch with a view options, head to the restaurants at Sky Garden which are less exclusive and open early in the morning. Sky Garden's restaurants are not quite as high up as Horizon 22's but they're still really high up with fabulous views. Sky Garden is round the corner at The Fenchurch Building (The Walkie Talkie), 20 Fenchurch Street.
Horizon 22 Cafe By Searcys
Tucked out of sight on floor 58's viewing platform, the Horizon 22 Cafe by Searcys. Searcys is a highly respected, historic London caterer with deep roots in the city's luxury hospitality archive, having catered for royal and celebrity events in London for hundreds of year.
Previously serving up tasty delights at The Gherkin, Searcys is now at Horizon 22 for both coffee shop treats and wedding and event catering. Learn more about weddings and events at Horizon 22
Unlike at The Gherkin, Searcys do not do afternoon tea at Horizon 22, probably due to lack of space, instead Horizon 22's afternoon tea is delivered by Gordon Ramsay's Lucky Cat Restaurant on floor 60. However you can still enjoy a nice glass of bubbly from Searcys' Horizon 22 Cafe as you enjoy the views. Pre-order your bottle or glass of fizz when you book.your ticket.
Horizon 22 Tickets
Although entry is free, Horizon 22 is an extremely popular attraction so you need to book a free ticket from the Horizon 22 Horizon 22 website. Don’t try and book your ticket on the day, you need to book a couple of weeks in advance, ideally on a Monday when new tickets are released because they sell out quickly.
You can book your tickets up to 2 weeks before you want to visit. On the day, bring photo ID with you, such as a passport or photo driving licence, so you can confirm you are the ticket holder.

If you want to, there is an option to pay to visit Horizon 22 early in the morning before it opens and watch the city as it wakes, you might even catch a sunrise. These paid tickets are known as early bird tickets. They can be booked from the same Horizon 22 web page for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and cost £15 which includes refreshments and an audio visual guide.

What if all the tickets are gone?
If there are no tickets available during your stay and you still want to see if you can get in, it is sometimes possible for a lucky few to turn up at 10am when the doors open and get one of the tiny number of tickets that may be available on the day but that’s risky. Book your ticket in advance and ensure you can get in.

Horizon 22 is open at 10am every day. From Monday to Friday Horizon 22 closes at 7pm, on Saturdays it closes at 6pm and on Sundays at 5pm.

This is a buzzing area so there’s tons of other things to do and see close to Horizon 22. From The Tower of London to Borough Market, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Tate Modern, Covent Garden and The West End – London’s theatre land, there’s so much to do.
